Dr. Mills of White Owl Counseling, attained clinical licensure from University of New England, and a Doctoral Degree in Social Work from Capella University.

Dr. Mills has worked within multiple disciplines of social work from direct practice with individuals and families to community engagement work addressing issues such as, trauma, substance abuse, and other mental health problems.

She is an Adjunct Instructor for Beal University for the Counseling Addictions Program and volunteers with the State of Maine Disaster Behavioral Health Team providing crisis debriefings or short-term therapy response for first responders throughout Maine.
